i couldn't find this on youtube so i linked the album on spotify. i don't know very much about music but this was a really great listen. i was shocked to see that this was a debut album and that it has so few listens. very complex but (mostly) super accessible, and is cohesive throughout without being boring. has a lot of really cool moments and i like the female vocals that are on some tracks. the best one is "dead or alive."

this appeared on my spotify discover weekly for two consecutive weeks so i listened to the album. i really enjoyed the two songs that were reccomended to me ("where birds turn to crows," and "we drank wine, but the box kind") however when i listened to the other tracks they felt a little random. so not really a cohesive album and a few of the songs suck a little. however i'd probably send it to somebody if i thought they would be the kind of person to enjoy this type of thing. there were some nice moments and some breakdowns that were really cool.

i originally only installed this because it was discounted but i enjoyed it much more than i thought i would. a very sweet, charming puzzle game with a beautiful and unique art style. the puzzles aren't challenging at all but since i don't usually play puzzle games i didn't mind. it took around 2 hours to get every achievement. lots of natural and organic creatures and imagery to juxtapose the technological environments and motifs of machinery, resulting in a cute story with themes of making your own way in the world.

i was lucky enough to see this in the cinema with my lover. the cinematography was good and the acting from the main cast was amazing and made me happy. but some of the minor characters like willa's friends weren't acted well at all. i think it was supposed to be funny but it wasn't. there was some really good dialogue which is my favourite part of movies but then there was a lot of bad and boring dialogue too so i don't really know what to think about that. really weird terrible vibe for the first half, but the movie is so long that it kind of got erased from my mind. the end was touching and i think the movie tells a lot about being a parent.

the first book cooper wrote after the completion of the george miles cycle, about sexual repression, violence, angst, and bitterness. despite some of the extreme contents this is very straight-forward for dennis cooper. a vague, passive, confused, teenaged unreliable narrator speaks indirectly, uncommunicative as to disconnect himself and the readers from the horrible events taking place. his narrative voice is uncertain about everything except violence and regret, the things he feels permitted to experience, as he sleepwalks through his life already half destroyed by trauma and isolation.

one of the best games i've played in forever, i've reccomended it to multiple people already. surprisingly deep and full of content, i discover something new any time i play. on top of that it is constantly being updated with new content being added all the time. it reminds me of if terraria, fallout 2, and stardew valley all got put together and made cute and japanese. a sandbox RPG where you can farm, complete quests, build and customise your base and town, open businesses and stores etc. characters you recuit live in your town and provide many different services. there are many races and classes to choose from to play any way you like to. there's definitely a learning curve as when you start it is difficult to do dungeons or not go bankrupt.
